Still Life Shot Flat

The obligatory pandemic project… Life became very still in the spring of 2020. Life stopped dead. All our worlds got smaller, imprisoned at home. This series of images attempts to explore my changing feelings towards the domestic and local environments I felt trapped in. Shooting images 'flat', with little or no editing, seeks to mirror the emotional flatness of depression. Unable to venture far and shoot landscapes I began looking for them closer to home.
